Geisha's Little $ecret

芸 者

"Geisha" consists of two kanji, 芸 (gei) meaning "art" and 者 (sha) meaning "person" or "doer". The most literal translation of Geisha into English would be "artist", "performing artist", or "artisan". GEISHA are skilled/extremely elegant artisans, trained in and performing music and dance. Men who organised Ozashiki's (parties in tea houses) often took their wife and geisha along. It was a prestige and granted status to the parties at that time.

GL$ parties often take place in The Woods or at one of our countryside's hidden gems.

That's why we love to call it a Secret, a little Secret...
